Pop-punk sensation Maggie Lindemann has made her return with a brand new EP HEADSPLIT. After embarking on a sold-out global headline tour for most of 2023, her new 8-track EP is fuelled with raw emotion.
With influences from artists such as 100 Gecs and Superheaven, HEADSPLIT is the perfect blend between her signature sound and a taste of experimentation. We are given insight into her life throughout the tracks – from her battles with her inner demons on hostage to being in her feels on you hold my love.
Maggie explained that she had been “listening to so many different types of music lately” and admitted that whilst she was keen to try out some new sounds, she didn’t want to be “disingenuous” to herself. She added that she was “heavily influenced by hyper pop and cool moody sounds”.
Maggie is set to perform HEADSPLIT in full at Troubadour in Los Angeles on May 28th, 2024, which will be her first show since her 2023 SUCKERPUNCH WORLD TOUR, which was celebrated with the release of a concert film.
The release of the new EP signifies the start of a brand-new era for Maggie and without a doubt, 2024 will be a big year for her.
