After much anticipation Glastonbury Festival has unveiled its line-up for 2024. The festival that needs no introduction attracts fans of all ages and genres, and has become a bucket list festival for many.
This year’s festival takes place 26th-30th June at Worthy Farm in Pilton, with Pyramid stage headliners announced as Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Shania Twain.
The rest of the line-up boasts some of the most in-demand artists, as well as rising stars and ones to watch, including Avril Lavigne, Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, The Streets, Jamie xx, LCD Soundsystem and The National and many more, plus even more artists are yet to be announced.
Tickets for the festival sold out within an hour of them being on sale back in November 2023, but the festival is currently running a prize draw, raising emergency funds to support people affected by conflict, and giving away 20 pairs of tickets.
For those who did miss out on tickets this year, there’ll will of course be the opportunity to watch all of the highlights from the comfort of your sofa!
Following the announcement Dua Lipa shared this message on her socials: “FRIDAY NIGHT PYRAMID STAGE HEADLINE!!!! I have dreamt of this moment all my life. Something that lived only in my wildest dreams and highest manifestations!!! I am so excited to see you all in my favourite place on earth and make it a night to remember!! Thank you @emilyeavis ~ GLASTO 4EVER.”
While Shania Twain shared a video in which she said “This is a dream come true. I have been asked about Glastonbury now for years and it’s finally coming together. I’m packing my wellies and my raincoat and, of course, my cowboy hat. So, I’ll see you in the beautiful Somerset countryside this summer – can’t wait, this is huge. Honor of my life. I’m so excited!”
