Returning for another year at Cheltenhams famous racecourse grounds, the wonderful family friendly Wychwood Festival is back for 2025. With 95% of tickets sold, there’s still just about enough time to grab tickets and make sure you don’t miss out on a weekend highlight of festival season.
Nestled beautifully within the Prestbury Hills Wychwood festival offers gorgeous surroundings to indulge in a stacked line up of both rising starts and throwback classics. Not to mention a sprinkling of comedic genius favorites, and as loads of activities to keep the kids entertained. With more than 100 acts covering indie, world, and folk genres across four stages, it’s time to get your planners at the ready so you don’t miss a moment!
Each year the festival delivers iconic headline acts, and for 2025, attendees can look forward to a Friday performance from Brit Pop legends, Shed Seven, a Saturday Rock slot with James, before closing things out on Sunday with indie rockers Doves.
If those names weren’t enough to convince you, this years line up also includes rising sensations, The Lottery Winners, as well as The Zutons, Lucy Spraggan, Wychwood Festival regulars and favorites Scouting For Girls, alongside Fisherman Friends.
Local heros and regulars Thrill Collins will also be making their way back to the main stage for their legendary medleys, but make sure you save enough dancing energy for the equally iconic Skinny Lister.
As well as a host of excellent music across the weekend, festival goers can will also be able to look forward to Wychwood’s Comedy Club. This year featuring headline acts. Bridget Christie, Lost Voice Guy, and Steve Royle. New for 2025, comedy performances will take place in the early afternoon every single day of the festival.
If for whatever reason you need a breather from the music, Wychwood has you covered with a host of activities. Ranging from P.E with Joe Wicks to Magic, Yoga, Messy Painting, groovy records, sambistas and street dance. If you fancy learning new skills theres plenty of workshops too including British Sign Language (BSL), Clay Modeling, Screen Printing and so much more! There truly is something for everyone of all ages to get stuck into and enjoy.
