With a third album on the horizon, you’ve got to ask when do Sea Girls sleep? Releasing non stop bangers their latest single I Want You To Know Me. Bringing their distinctive indie sound and drawing on their melodic talents; this track is yet another infectious ear worm.
When it comes to Sea Girls you know you’re in for relatable, positive, and life-affirming lyrics. Acting as a follow up to one of their all time fan favourites All I Want To Hear You Say, you can truly feel the full circle moment and growth the band have gone through over the years.
Going the extra mile, to accompany the single, Sea Girls have ensured an eco friendly production for their music video. Creating the set from 300 unwanted cardboard boxes and reducing the carbon footprint of the video the band are clear green champions. After a week of creating the set, everything was then sent to local recycling centres, ensuring a continuous sustainable loop.
As well as creating an eco friendly video, the band are actively engaged in a variety of charity work. Getting involved with both homeless and environmental ventures, Sea Girls have been working with the likes of Football Beyond Boarders, Water Aid and War Child UK.
Taken from forthcoming third album Midnight butterflies the 12 tracks focus on melodic joy and stand out pop perfection. After growing a strong fan base over the years, the band are firmly marking their ground as one of the most talented bands around. With a genuine and authentic energy surrounding every member, its damn near impossible not to fall in love with them.
If you’re not already on the Sea Girls hype train, now is certainly the time to board and learn the discography. If previous tracks Young Strangers and Weekends and Work Days are anything to go by, this new album is yet to be another phenomenal one.
