Carly Rae Jepsen Announces UK & Ireland Dates For The So Nice Tour In 2023

Carly Rae Jepsen announces she will bring The So Nice Tour to the UK and Ireland at the start of 2023. Supported by Lewis Ofman, the tour’s European leg will kick off in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on February 5th 2023 before closing at London’s Alexandra Palace on February 15th 2023.

The North American leg of the tour opened in Cleveland in September 2022 and will wrap up in Chicago in November before travelling across the pond. The tour supports her fifth studio album, The Loneliest Time, which is out on October 21st 2022.

The GRAMMY®-, Juno- and Polaris Prize-nominated singer/songwriter collaborated with fellow Canadian artist Rufus Wainwright on the title track The Loneliest Time. Other singles include Beach, and lead single Western Wind, which was inspired by the loss of her grandmother during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In fact, the whole album is a product of the pandemic, with parts of it written in zoom sessions with Call Me Maybe co-writer Tavish Crowe. With this album, Carly Rae Jepsen delves deep into her song-writing bag to bring us a more meditative sound than we’ve heard from her before.

The announcement is good news for her UK and Irish fans who only had three opportunities to see her in London and Manchester during her last tour, The Dedicated Tour. This time around, she’s spoiling us with eight dates, making The So Nice Tour her biggest UK show yet. The complete UK and Ireland tours dates are as follows:

February 5 – Dublin, Olympia Theatre
February 7 – Leeds, O2 Academy
February 8 – Glasgow, O2 Academy
February 9 – Manchester, O2 Apollo
February 11 – Birmingham, O2 Institute
February 12 – Bristol, O2 Academy
February 13 – Brighton, The Dome
February 15 – London, Alexandra Palace

Tickets go on sale on Friday October 30th at livenation.co.uk. For more information on tour dates and tickets, visit Carly Rae Jepsen’s official website.
