Paolo Nutini has released not one, but two singles from his upcoming album, LAST NIGHT IN THE BITTERSWEET.

Paolo Nutini, originally from Scotland, is no stranger to the music industry. He has been making soulful tracks and releasing them to the public since 2006, and particularly gained recognition for tracks such as Candy and Last Request. Not only that, but his albums Caustic Love and Sunny Side Up both hit number 1 in the UK charts, and he has amassed over 1.5 billion global streams. His upcoming album, however, will be his first release since 2014’s Caustic Love, so fans are overjoyed to listen to what is to come from his newest body of music.

The first track, titled Acid Eyes, is a love song laced with his signature, smooth drum beats and guitar riffs. It is hopeful and nostalgic, making it a calming and entertaining listen. Petrified Love, on the other hand, is more upbeat and cheerful. Both are quite different, but maintain Nutini’s unique vocal abilities.

LAST NIGHT IN THE BITTERSWEET is said to feature a range of genres, including classic rock, post-punk and hypnotic Krautrock, and is said to be his deepest and most rewarding body of work so far.

If this wasn’t thrilling enough for fans, it has also been announced that Nutini will be heading out on a UK and European tour, including two nights at London’s historical Alexandra Palace.

Paolo Nutini’s newest album is highly anticipated by fans, and, judging by the first two singles that have been released, this is one that will not disappoint.

Tickets for Paolo Nutini’s upcoming tour are on sale now.
