Bastille kicked off 2022 with the release of their fourth-studio album, Give Me The Future (you can read our review here) and thanks to world of music and live events being ‘almost’ back to normal, the band got to head out on tour the following month. The Give Me The Future tour consisted of 11 dates across the UK and we got to go along to the second sold out Birmingham show.

The main support for the night came from singer, songwriter DYLAN, who recently supported Ed Sheeran at The Royal Albert Hall and proved a big hit with the Bastille crowd, which clearly included her own fans.

When it came to Bastille’s performance, they had clearly set out to put on a show, with futuristic on screen prompts, a somewhat lounger on stage and an intimate experience as lead singer Dan Smith even took the opportunity to get closer to fans by walking through the crowd and performing on the balcony to those in the higher levels.
