Having had major success with tracks such as Preacher Man and A Kiss, fans will be happy to hear that The Driver Era are back with a new single, Heaven Angel.
The track, which has a groovy, disco-like sound, is said to be an insight into what fans might expect from their upcoming record, releasing at some point this year. The song was written by both Ross and Rocky Lynch, after the two had immersed themselves in creating music in their garage during the pandemic. The song yet again portrays The Driver Era’s ability to mix their catchy style with personal and meaningful lyrics, illustrating their musical talent and abilities.
As well as the release of the song itself, The Driver Era have also released a music video to accompany it. The cinematic visual follows Ross and Rocky cruising down the road in a vintage convertible, which then leads them to an underground club. The theme is a portrayal of their more mature style, and the new path that they are taking since the release of their album, X, in 2019.

The band have undoubtedly soared to success with all of their releases, and have written and produced every track. Although they have had obstacles in the way of their music creation at times, with Ross filming for the hit Netflix show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the boys have still managed to gain millions of streams on their tracks. Not only this, but they have grasped the attention of many DJ’s on BBC Radio 1, with their songs being played regularly.
If the announcement of new Driver Era music wasn’t exciting enough, the band have also confirmed that they will be heading out on a world tour in autumn, and will be returning to the UK for their headline tour in January 2022, with tickets on sale now.
