After a scoring six top 10 singles and being the biggest-selling UK breakthrough of 2020 Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji, known as KSI, has announced that he will be releasing his second album on July 16th. Titled All Over The Place, the album will be available on CD, cassette and vinyl via BMG / RBC Records and can be pre-ordered here.
Speaking about the album title KSI said, “this album is all over the place. The genres are all over the place, the topics are all over the place. And it’s correlated to how I am as a person. I’m not someone that just does one thing. I’ve done many things in my life like acting, music, boxing, YouTube etc, and I wanted to make an album that represented that”.
He continue, “I’m super excited for the people to hear this album. I’ve improved on everything I did with Dissimulation. The singing has improved. The writing has improved. The beats have more layers to it, I’m a lot more experimental, I’m way more comfortable on the mic etc. This album is a reflection of a lot of hard work and passion combined and I’m really proud to be releasing it.”
His most recent single Patience, featuring Yungblud and Polo, which will feature on the new album made it to number 3 in the UK Official Charts. The track was created as a result of the pandemic and reflects the challenges and having to come to terms with a new way of life, while ensuring us that when it’s all over we will come out feeling strong and better than before.
Last month KSI made his debut on The Late Show with James Cordon, with a world exclusive performance of Patience which you can watch below:
Alongside news of a second album, KSI has also announced a headline show at the SSE Arena Wembley Arena, Wednesday 25th February 2022, with tickets on sale now.
“To say I’m in shock, is an understatement. I can’t believe I’m in a position where I can play at Wembley. It’s all a bit crazy. I still remember times when I struggled to sell out 100 capacity rooms in the U.K, and now I’m at a point where I’m going to be performing in front of thousands in such an iconic arena. I’m so ready for this and I can’t wait to see you all there for the ultimate ride,” he says.
As well as being available on CD and vinyl, fans will also be able to get their hands on bundles with exclusive merchandise, including signed photos and limited-edition Gold disc CDs. Pre-order All Over The Place here.
