English country/pop duo Ward Thomas have teamed up with country star and Grammy award nominee Cam for their latest acoustic release Don’t Be A Stranger

The twins, Lizzy and Catherine from Hampshire, released their fourth studio album, Invitation, back in 2020 and have been referred to as one of the top country artists on the current UK scene.

Cam is perhaps most well known for her song Burning House which earned her a nomination for the Grammy award for Best Country Solo Performance back in 2016, but also released her third studio album The Otherside in 2020. The artists came together for the original 2020 version of Don’t Be A Stranger but have now released a stripped back version of the song, allowing emphasis to be placed on the captivating vocals of both Ward Thomas and Cam together.

To celebrate the release of the acoustic version of the song, Ward Thomas have announced a duet competition on Tik Tok. Users who duet themselves, singing alongside the girls will be entered into a prize draw to win multiple prizes. Three entries will be chosen by Ward Thomas to have their version of the song mastered alongside the twins, whilst one user will be selected to play a three song set at one of the dates of their upcoming November 2021 tour. This is an amazing and unique opportunity for any aspiring country singer to get both their name and their music out to a live audience.

You can find the video to duet to on the Tik Tok app here, or watch it below:
