Country pop duo, Ward Thomas, are back with some divine new music for you to get stuck right into. Sisters Cathrine and Lizzy Thomas recently released their romantically, dreamy single, Sweet Time, which is the opening track of their next studio album Invitation, out on October 2nd.

This energetic and bright opener sets up to truly show off the mature and profound step up from previous releases. This optimistic new music is certainly welcome at a time where the music industry is still struggling and we’re all missing live shows.

Watch the video for Sweet Time below:

Speaking about the upcoming album Ward Thomas said: We named it after a lyric in the song ‘Open your mind’ because the album feels like an invitation- whether if be figuratively, an invitation to self reflect, or physically, to a time when we can all party again.”

Alongside this incredible opening track, the album also features three bonus tracks, which includes a cover of the hugely popular Fleetwood Mac track, Landslide, a brilliant collaboration with James Blunt and a mind-blowing performance of The Killers Human, performed live at Wembley Arena alongside Jack Savoretti

The duo also recently announced a series of intimate, acoustic live shows, which have now been rescheduled to take place across the UK in April 2021, with two dates at the iconic London Union Chapel.
