15 years after the release of Young For Eternity, indie rockers The Subways are back with a celebratory tour across the UK and Europe. They kicked off with a show at Hitchin’s Club 85 and we we there to capture it. Opening up the show was Kent based rockers Salvation Jayne who clearly had their fans in the room, pulling in an early crowd ahead of tonight’s main act.
The intimate setting of Hitchin’s Club 85 gave fans a chance to get up close to the band and sing along to their favourite tracks, while Billy Lunn shared the stories behind how some of the bands songs were creating, including anecdotes of performing them in front of his mum.
If you’ve haven’t seen the The Subways before then expect to see bassist Charlotte Cooper dashing about the stage whilst rocking out in her sparkly outfits and flipping that hair about, you may even get a stage dive from Billy, as tonight’s crowd did.

You can catch The Subways on tour across the UK and Europe now, and they’ll also be at year’s Reading and Leeds Festival.
